High Alert Tier 2 – Meeting friends and family

  • You must not socialise inside your home or in a public building with anyone you do not live with or who is not in your support bubble.

  • A public building is a place that other people go to like shops, pubs, clubs, cinemas health centres. This means if you go  to the shops or cinema you should only go with  people you live with or who are in your support bubble.   You should always keep a safe distance away from other people even if you know them.

  • You must not socialise in a group of more than 6 people outside, including in a garden or a public space – this is called the ‘rule of 6’.

  • This means that if you go out for a walk  in the park or sit in your garden with the people you live with or who are  in  your support bubble there must not be more than 6 people in your group at the same time.
