All Devon County Council buildings are now closed to the public unless you have a visit arranged, but you can still contact us if you need to.

Monday to Friday from 8 in the morning until 8 in the evening.
Saturday mornings from 9 in the morning until 1 in the afternoon.
If you have received an NHS extremely vulnerable letter, have registered for support on the government website but have not received a food delivery.

What to do if you need urgent help because of the Coronavirus outbreak and can not get help from anyone else.
You can contact your local district council.
Each district council have phone helplines set up to get help with things like deliveries essential food and other things you need around the house, extra care and social contact.
Depending on what help you need, they will be able to help you organise support through their local hub, the NHS volunteer responder scheme or local community group.
You can also call them if you are worried about someone in your community who you think needs help.

Public transport like buses and trains.
Trains and buses are still running but there may be changes to the times they run.
This is because it depends on how many staff are able to work at any time.
You should contact the bus or train operator to check before starting your journey.
Using your National Bus Pass
Devon County Council has temporarily changed the times you can use your bus pass.
You can now use your pass before 9.30am for free travel on local bus services.
If you have any problems using your bus pass you should:

Refuse collection and recycling
Recycling centres in Devon are open. You should only take things that are not safe for you to keep at home.
