A group of people with learning disabilities chose to set up their own Co-production Group in October 2023. They called it Jargon Busters.

The Jargon Busters first project was to make a film showing how people with learning disabilities are used to working in a Co-productive way. The film was premiered at the Learning Disability Partnership Board Celebration of Learning Disability Projects in March 2024.

The Jargon Busters Co-production Group decided to work on a second project. The aim of this project was to look at getting more people with learning disabilities to join the Devon Learning Disability Partnership Board (LDPB).
The group planned the contents, wrote a script and recorded their voices for a short promotional film. It was premiered at the LDPB on February 24th 2025.

The Jargon Busters decided that they would like to work on another project. This one would involve writing guidance for Devon County Council.
The guidance would give advice on how to get people with learning disabilities from ethnically diverse communities involved in co-production.
