Health and Social Care Group meetings 2026

  • January 12th 2026: The group met to review offers of work they had received from council and NHS officers looking for support with different projects. They also planned their next Jargon Busters project.

  • January 26th 2026: Officers from DPT were going to come back to the group to give them an update on the Clinical Strategy they helped to develop. This has been postponed until the autumn.
  • February 2nd 2026: A Disability Lead is coming to the group to learn more about the work they have been doing on getting reasonable adjustments for parents with learning disabilities.
    This had to be postponed due to sickness. Click here for meeting notes.
  • March 2nd 2026: The group will meet with a Community Transport Advisor to help her record a script for a film on how to apply for a concessionary bus pass.
  • March 23rd 2026: A Service Improvement Lead is coming to the group to share a new leaflet that talks about the Client Financial Services Team and financial assessments.
  • April 13th 2026: A Disability Lead is coming to the group to learn more about the work they have been doing on getting reasonable adjustments for parents with learning disabilities.
