High Alert Tier 2 – Travel
-
You can travel to venues or places that are open. You should try to only travel if you need to.
-
If you live in a tier 2 area, you must continue to follow tier 2 rules or advice when you travel to a tier 1 area.
This means – Devon is in tier 2, if you travel to Cornwall that is in tier 1, you will still need to follow the tier 2 rules.
-
It is best not to travel to or stay overnight in tier 3 areas unless to you have to. This could be for things like work, education, youth services, to receive medical treatment, or because of caring responsibilities.
-
You can travel through a tier 3 area to get to another area.
-
If you are travelling to another country you will need to contact the Foreign, Commonwealth and Development Office for travel advice – click or tap here to go to their website for information
