Changes to the £20 note:

After 30/09/22  you will no longer be able to spend or use the old paper £20 note in shops, pubs or cafes. The newer plastic-looking £20 notes are still legal tender (okay to use). If you have any old paper £20 notes, you can take them to your local bank who will swap them for newer ones. Some post offices may offer this service as well.
